Aparently seen on the street in Amsterdam, this fantastic discarded Go-Cart was still chained to the post (for security) at the time of taking this picture, thank to Robyn for this picture!
The Printer
Admitedly I have thumped a few pieced of technology in order to “make it work.” However, there is a technique made famous in English boarding schools (sending one to Coventry, I believe) that has become popular in Greece. This “discarded” printer was found wanting of ink, and inconsistent in output, and found itself on a roof top in Santorini, thanks to Shaun for sending me this picture!
The Ship
Afternoon after afternoon, I rode past the old ship, I regiled in the memory of her being refloated after sinking in Greenland dock in Surray Quays, and being placed in this rotting yard. We can all count our blessings that the wood will return to the earth, and the rest can be dumped somewhere in a ditch, or a land fill.
TESCO Trolley
Thanks TESCO, every trolley helps… now if only we can get some shell fish, or other interesting creatures to make their homes inside the trolley we can use these discarded trolleys as artificial reefs and do some god in the muddy river that calls itself the Thames. Another fantastic example of decay!
The Switch
Very few items have struck me with as much awe as this switch montherboard photographed one afternoon while scowering the banks of the Thames in London for treasure and adventure. The make and model are still unknown to me, but what an awesome display of decay caused by the great muddy river!
